Custom paint Gaming Mouse

Custom Spray Painting a Gaming Mouse

I recently bought a gaming mouse from DIY store which was selling this  gaming mouse made by a China company Legend(horse logo) with their blu-ray tehcnology for RM26.90.  so i got it and test it out, turns out pretty good except from not having the dpi indicator which most mouse with dpi change button has one, it changes 4 levels, u can tell by moving your mouse left and right to check if the dpi has change, other than that, it has both the previous and next button on the left side above your thumb would be and it is pretty easy to reach and out of the way when u r doing other stuff.

So, after awhile i thought i can stop looking for a green mouse and keyboard combo and got the idea of spraying the top center part and the mouse wheel of it, so i did. and here's what i got... not a very nice finish, but good enough for me. the build on this mouse is amazingly quite sturdy, it wont feel cheap and it has a weight to make it feel much comfy to hold it. i had to apply thinner to the top layer to take out the matte layer of the mouse and the paint. then i applied black paint and then apple green paint then gloss.
I have had experienced with thick paint in my previous projects, so i've learnt that u have to spray even and thin layers to avoid having thick paint and doesn't fit back in the case. so after it dried i pop it all back in and there we have a custom apple green gaming mouse. ^^

Thanks for Viewing, and it is very much appreciate if you all could leave a comment.
^^ thanks !!

Canon f/1.8 50mm - Canon EOS 60D

My latest photography session

So I've changed from a Canon Powershot sx10is to my current EOS 60D, so did some tryouts here and there with my kit lens which is a 18-55 lens ( i will post them later ), then i was targeting to buy a f/1.2 prime lens which considered a cheap and good lens where the pictures are very sharp, but then i needed to wait quite sometime before i could buy one . but pretty soon i was very lucky to have my cousin gave me his f/1.8 50mm prime lens, i was very happy to receive it so i tested it here. The price i heard was not too expensive for the result it gets, its lightweight and easy to carry, but if u were planning on taking pictures only using the 50mm lens, better be ready to move alot.. as the frame is bout 50mm view (means object always are closer, moving backwards or forwards) but sooner if u get used to it, u will find the spot where u know where the right distance is. ^^

hope you all enjoy and please, do share opinions and stuff. ^^
this is a picture where i took the spider on its web, and this is full size, u can still see the spider fairly clearly if u crop to 33% and quite sharp.

i like the color for this lens, its contrast's nicely and very sharp indeed if u use f/ 1.8 all the time..haha.
this photo above has no crop either, and its not so blur at the back b'cause i  put it at f/5.

i love this butterfly, it stays particularly on this plant only.. so i get to snap it as close as the 50mm allows.
just look at the detail of the wings, just have to love it. ^^  and this isno crop.

Thanks for viewing and hope you enjoy it
and please comment, i will reply if possible.

NOKIA N8 Review II ( i'm back! )

NOKIA N8 Review II

hi there, its been long that i've been using my 2nd N8, unfortunately for the 1st N8 was lost during my trip to China.
so i got a black one instead of the silver ones.

so back to the review...
the N8 is one of my favorite smart phones i've known.
The games a fairly smooth like Need for Speed, Angry Bird, and Ovi has released tons lot of games and apps for N8, talking about apps after i got my black N8 i bought the Camera Pro from Ovi stores... and guess what, It gave my camera's CAF ( Continues Auto Focus ) function! now i'm so happy to know that my N8 is the most great gadget i have.

It is slim, solid,HDMI capable, usb plug in, clear sound (dolby) Amoled screen, scratch resistant glass, and now... with the Camera of 12mp, which shoots HD video(720p) with the CAF on... Its a complete package for me.!!
Additional information i knew about the N8 later after experimenting on the N8's camera.
At 1st i knew that the N8's camera has a shutter that cover the lens while unused, but then i noticed that the N8 actually has a built in Auto ND(Neutral Density) filter ( a real piece of filter, not digital ) because when under the direct bright light, it will automatically pop in action to prevent over-bright. ( if you don't believe, use a bright torchlight to shine on the camera, it will pop up as a deep blue filter, or if u wanna see them in action just shove ur camera right at a lamp and see the screen go from bright to just nice lighting form.. ^^ magic.. enjoy!~

owh.. but... something keeps bothering me... the black N8 i got.. was abit unlucky... the Accelerometer is abit out of balanced. i 1st thought my GPS was going abit off, but then i was playing the Need for Speed which need you need to tilt the phone to the left and right to steer, it was a bit off while i was holding it perfectly horizontal.
well, thats a problem i would like to send back to Nokia's care center in Bukit Bintang to check it out... since its still on warranty.. ^^

any Questions regarding the N8 are welcome, or u can find me on Fb to ask.
thanks for viewing!

UPDATE:

well unfortunately again.. i've been using this phone about a year now, and again i dropped my 2nd N8 during my trip to Cambodia... and i was fairly angry at my self .
so now, im currently trying out the Samsung Galaxy SII for fun because i don't wanna use a phone as my 2nd camera anymore, since i lost 2 of my precious phone twice because i used it as a 2nd camera.
but anyways, i will post a new topic about my 3rd... em.. 4th smartphone which is the Samsung Galaxy SII with Android 4.0.3 later on. hope u all enjoy reading it and got some info out of it. thanks .

Reviews

- After using this phone about 3 weeks now... it seems ok but u must be abit patient with the phone..
it lags abit sometimes.. but seldom.. ( hope nokia will release its update before chinese new year ends.. ^^ )
The outlook of this phone is very nice.. the screen is a hard glass that feels nice to touch and the body is cast out allumium and feels cold when it is cold.. lol..
although quite dissapointing that the side covers are plastic. and when night comes the breathing light under the menu button shines through the plastic casing..T.T but the breathing ready light is cool.
It has three home screen that u can customize by just tap and hold the screen and the edit mode will be activated. The home screen can be customized to apply different backgrounds for different home screen.
The 12mp camera is great, it has a shutter! the camera it self has quite a nice depth of field, the digital optical zoom is nice as it zooms together with the 12mps so that it wont loose any pixels when u take the pictures. It has feature like adjusting the exposure,ISO,contrast, scene selection and etc. the setting provides a wide screen setting where the pictures will fill your HD LCD tv, and the secondary camera infront of the screen is not too bad too. I love the new photo editing software the n8 provides as they have a lot more choices compared to the older Symbian models. The cables provided are quite use full as n8 supports pdf. files and other files too, just plug the usb into the port at the left side and plug your thumbdrive or any usb drives as it support most usb devices such as bluetooth dongle for mouse and keyboards. ( yes.. u really can use mouse and keyboard on this n8) :D and the usb to usb (output) can be used as a charger too.

The screen saver clock is an additional bonus.. but it wont fade out totally as it always appears on the screen and wont be activated by touching the screen, only by pressing the menu button that the screen will activate into tap to unlock mode, or u can use the side-lock to unlock.
I was quite excited to get the Nokia Suit installed and guess what? i found no cd in the package..
and then only i notices that it has the software built in the n8! how cool is that.. no fuss and no frust.

well, guess this is it for now... as i've yet to test all those functions and games ^^
cheers~
