NOKIA N8 Review II
hi there, its been long that i've been using my 2nd N8, unfortunately for the 1st N8 was lost during my trip to China.
so i got a black one instead of the silver ones.
so back to the review...
the N8 is one of my favorite smart phones i've known.
The games a fairly smooth like Need for Speed, Angry Bird, and Ovi has released tons lot of games and apps for N8, talking about apps after i got my black N8 i bought the Camera Pro from Ovi stores... and guess what, It gave my camera's CAF ( Continues Auto Focus ) function! now i'm so happy to know that my N8 is the most great gadget i have.
It is slim, solid,HDMI capable, usb plug in, clear sound (dolby) Amoled screen, scratch resistant glass, and now... with the Camera of 12mp, which shoots HD video(720p) with the CAF on... Its a complete package for me.!!
Additional information i knew about the N8 later after experimenting on the N8's camera.
At 1st i knew that the N8's camera has a shutter that cover the lens while unused, but then i noticed that the N8 actually has a built in Auto ND(Neutral Density) filter ( a real piece of filter, not digital ) because when under the direct bright light, it will automatically pop in action to prevent over-bright. ( if you don't believe, use a bright torchlight to shine on the camera, it will pop up as a deep blue filter, or if u wanna see them in action just shove ur camera right at a lamp and see the screen go from bright to just nice lighting form.. ^^ magic.. enjoy!~
owh.. but... something keeps bothering me... the black N8 i got.. was abit unlucky... the Accelerometer is abit out of balanced. i 1st thought my GPS was going abit off, but then i was playing the Need for Speed which need you need to tilt the phone to the left and right to steer, it was a bit off while i was holding it perfectly horizontal.
well, thats a problem i would like to send back to Nokia's care center in Bukit Bintang to check it out... since its still on warranty.. ^^
any Questions regarding the N8 are welcome, or u can find me on Fb to ask.
thanks for viewing!
UPDATE:
well unfortunately again.. i've been using this phone about a year now, and again i dropped my 2nd N8 during my trip to Cambodia... and i was fairly angry at my self .
so now, im currently trying out the Samsung Galaxy SII for fun because i don't wanna use a phone as my 2nd camera anymore, since i lost 2 of my precious phone twice because i used it as a 2nd camera.
but anyways, i will post a new topic about my 3rd... em.. 4th smartphone which is the Samsung Galaxy SII with Android 4.0.3 later on. hope u all enjoy reading it and got some info out of it. thanks .
